                                                                                                                          Tiwi are Aboriginal people of Melville and Bathurst islands in Northern Australia. They speak Tiwi language and English. First time that Tiwi were mentioned in historic records was the early eighteenth century, when they came in contact with Dutch, Portuguese and British explorers.
